Day 25 of 30 Days of SPECTRE!
Today we turn things over to the JBR listeners to hear what they think about SPECTRE. We actually ended up recording more interviews than we initially planned to, so from here on out, we’ll be releasing TWO episodes of JBR a day up until the end of the month.
On today’s show we have Mr. Jack Taylor, all the way from Chicago, USA, though currently studying in London.
We also have from London, Mr. Ian Coop, who like Blofeld himself has a shadowy connection to Tom’s past.

Really enjoying the listener reviews on 30 days of SPECTRE guys. I’ve contributed my own 90 second SPECTRE review which I’ve emailed to you on Facebook because I had problems with the speakpipe section of the website. Doesn’t seem to be very compatible with my laptop for whatever reason. No matter. Let me know if you receive it ok and hopefully it’s in time to incorporate into the podcast. Cheers guys!
The Day of the Dead falls on November 2nd. but what we saw in the pre-title sequence is a very bombastic, “larger than life”/”Hollywoodized” version of the event and I would suggest you don’t expect to see anything remotely similar if ever visiting Mexico (not that I didn’t love what they did with it in Spectre).
If I had heard someone say Thunderball was one of the worst Bonds a few month ago, I would’ve been very confused, but after recently watching some of Calvin Dyson’s videos on the subject, I can see where Jack is coming from.
