Welcome back to “This Week in James Bond”! In this installment, we’re talking SPECTRE – and nothing but. Be sure to check out the latest news episode of JBR in which Tom and Chris discussed the news of previous weeks.
Here’s the newest poster for SPECTRE, which features not only a white dinner jacket-clad Daniel Craig but also a Live and Let Die-esque skeleton man in the background.
Look carefully at the credits and you’ll notice in the second row of text that Daniel Craig also has producing credit. Also, Monica Bellucci gets the coveted “with” listing.
In other SPECTRE news, tickets for the film will go on sale this coming Monday. It is rumoured that on or around the same day, the theme song artist will be announced; stay tuned for more information. As of a few weeks ago, fellow James Bond website JamesBonding.com reported that odds were high in favour of the band Radiohead.

Various corporate sponsors of the film have also begun releasing promotional tie-in advertisements to coincide with the release of SPECTRE, including Tom Ford, Heineken, and Omega. Craig himself also recently visited the Omega factory in Switzerland to examine the new Omega Seamaster 300 “Spectre”, pictured below (thanks to Marcos Kontze from James Bond Brasil for the image), which is receiving a limited production of 7007 units to tie in with the film’s release. Madame Tussauds London also announced the creation of five more wax figures to accompany Daniel Craig’s in honour of the release of SPECTRE. Some of them may be quite familiar to you.

Finally, Daniel Craig was interviewed by DuJour and Esquire magazines, and gave some enlightening answers to both. You can check out the scans of Craig’s Esquire interview below (thanks again to JBBR).
