  1. The Hildebrand Rarity i actually like but to use as a song difficult,? As i wait with patience what are your picks for title?

  2. Good morning, Tom and Chris. Very exciting day today. I have hope for the title Property of A Lady, but I also like Ice Breaker and Snow Bound. Wonder if Blofeld or Austria or Rome will be in the title if they made up a new one.

  3. Alright. Ready to do this. My work colleagues think I’m crazy to obsess over this, but who cares what they think?

  4. Morning all, I’m an avid JBR fan and so had to get involved this morning.
I like “My Enemy’s Enemy” – Blofeld also wants to bring down Quantum in Bond 24 for Blofeld to return as main villain in Bond 25. Hows that for a slice of fried gold.

  5. Just a note: it looks like the stream from Pinewood might be restricted to some places outside the UK, so you may need Hola Unblocker or something similar to view it.

    1. If you have Chrome or Firefox, you can use Hola Unblocked to view it. In Germany as well and it looks like it’s working for me.

  6. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG

        1. That would be great! I finally found a page to watch the stream in Germany – but without sound … Argh!!! What year is it again??

  7. Andrew Scott will propably be a shady MI6 character. Waltz freakin’ BLOFELD! Didnät really like the car. But loved the cast. But the main thing here is SPECTRE! At last!

    1. No time to lie down. Gotta go back to work. At least now I have more energy than a pot of coffee would have given me.

      1. Ah, but I knew that announcement 13 months ago that EON had reached a deal with McClory’s estate to buy the rights to his work was going to yield fandom dividends. I just didn’t think it would be in the very next film!

  8. Just found this on the Telegraph:
Here’s an official plot summary for the film, which has just been released by pinewood: “A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE”

    1. Cool! Reminds me a bit about the Skyfall synopsis – with Bond’s past/M’s past. However, could Bond’s past have something to do with the Oberhauser character from the Octopussy story? He was Bond’s ski instructor in his youth, and a father figure to Bond. It was rumored in the press that Oberhauser would be Waltz/Blofeld’s alias, was it not?

      1. Indeed, I think that will most likely be the link to Bond’s past. Remember Mendes said that he wanted to continue the themes they explored in Skyfall? I’m guessing that means more about Bond past as a young’un.

  9. It was a pleasure watching with you guys…what an awesome reveal. I can’t wait to record the next podcast and talk about all of this.

Quick favour: Can you guys leave your thoughts about today’s news as a voicemail on the right hand side of this page. We want to hear your thoughts and we’ll most likely include a lot of the messages in our next episode!

  10. Very excited for SPECTRE! Obviously the title suggests a return to what made Bond so great in the first place. The casting of Christoph Waltz as (as mysteriously unnamed character by Mendes) is intriguing to say the least and, in my mind, along with the title, solidifies the truth to the rumor that he will be playing Bloefeld. Needless to say it’s going to be a long 12 months.

    1. I’ve been excited about new Bond before, but I don’t think I’ve ever been quite as excited and intrigued about what the future may hold. I’ve been dreaming about SPECTRE coming back since I was a wee lad!
